The top growing movie for 2010 was Toy Story 3 bringing in a whopping $415 million dollars here in the US and a staggering $1.06 billion worldwide, which also makes it one of the top 10 grossing movies of all time.
There were several other kids’s movies in the top 10 in 2010 including:
- Alice In Wonderland at number 2 with $334 million US and $1.02 billion at the box office worldwide.
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 clocks in at number 3 with $278 million US box office and $865 million worldwide.
- Shrek Forever After is the number 5 movie for 2010 with $238 million domestic sales and $740 million worldwide
- Despicable Me made the top 10 at number 8 with $251 million in US box office sales, and $540 million box office worldwide
- How To Train Your Dragon squeaks into the top 10 at number 9 with $218 million US and $495 Million worldwide
