If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s worth the effort. Horton is laugh out loud funny. We saw it opening weekend and my son loved it. In fact we may go see it again this week while he’s off on spring break. If you’re looking for a fun family movie Horton Hears a Who hits the spot in my opinion.

I liked this adaptation of Dr. Seuss much better than the previous attempts. I think the animation was very well done, and worked much better than using live characters. The characters could have been a little more “Seussy.” I’m not sure they completely captured the whimsical nature of the Dr. Seuss books, but the characters were loveable, and they included many of the rhymes from the original story.
