Fox is planning at least two sequels to the popular Avatar movie. The new Avatar movies are scheduled for release in December 2014 and December 2015.

I can’t wait to see what happens next. This was a movie I was prepared not to like, and I ended up loving it! We’ve watched it several times now, the visuals were beautiful. I hope the sequels don’t disappoint!

Prepare for awesomeness in 2011 with the sequel of Kung Fu Panda premiering May 26 2011. The movie is officially titled Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom, and brings back all your favoirte original Kung Fu Panda characters.

The top growing movie for 2010 was Toy Story 3 bringing in a whopping $415 million dollars here in the US and a staggering $1.06 billion worldwide, which also makes it one of the top 10 grossing movies of all time.

There were several other kids’s movies in the top 10 in 2010 including:

• Alice In Wonderland at number 2 with $334 million US and $1.02 billion at the box office worldwide.
• Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 clocks in at number 3 with $278 million US box office and $865 million worldwide.
• Shrek Forever After is the number 5 movie for 2010 with $238 million domestic sales and $740 million worldwide
• Despicable Me made the top 10 at number 8 with $251 million in US box office sales, and $540 million box office worldwide
• How To Train Your Dragon squeaks into the top 10 at number 9 with $218 million US and $495 Million worldwide

I can’t wait to see what kid’s movies reign supreme in 2011!

Your kids favorite Battle Brawlers may soon be coming to a theater near you. Universal pictures has attached “Karate Kid” director Harold Swart to the Bakugan movie project, according to an exclusive at The Wrap.
Harold did a great job with Karate Kid, it was one of our favorite movies of the summer. I went with my son to check it out, but wasn’t expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I’m sure he’ll put his personal touch on the Bakugan movie.

Bakugan is a kid favorite, especially at our house. I can’t wait to see what the movie brings.
